Baby mine. month eleven.

29 days from today and my baby will turn one. ONE. time is a cruel thing.
i'm actually hating it right now. today especially, i'm having a hard time with the thought of losing my baby to toddlerdom (and please no one tell me i can
"just have another". it's not the same).

i know what an incredible, wonderful and natural thing it is for Santiago to be developing and growing, and i am ever so grateful for it, but the thought of my sweet baby boy turning one. ONE. is making me nostalgic, and i'm getting weepy.

Santiago 15 days old.

when will somebody figure out how to pause time already?

can somebody please get on that?

I have a few things to say. . .

First of all-

Is he not the cutest? I should put that in caps because I'm yelling it!

IS HE NOT THE CUTEST!!!????!!!! I mean. . .  seriously. Look at him.

Those cheeks, that perfect little nose and those long eyelashes.

Tell me you've seen a cuter drooly face. Not possible.

Oh, I love that drooly face. I can't stop nibbling him all day! 

Second of all-

I've gone nearly a month without Blogging. That's right. A month. No Blogging.

And something magical happened. I started owning my life. I was living my life.

I wasn't reporting in, checking up, posting this, posting that. . .  

It almost felt weird. I have to admit, the little break was nice.

Thirdly-

EXCITING NEWS! Santiago started zoooooming up the stairs all by himself!!

We caught it on video just for you! And, well, yeah for posterity also.
